2. Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken
Yes, yes, yes- we have a Popeye’s! Okay so it is not the healthiest of foods (we’ll get into that later) but it is definitely tasty and inexpensive! Bonus, this restaurant sells hand slaughtered Halal meat. We definitely recommend you go on a Saturday- 5 chicken wings for $4.99!

3. Oh! Bombay
Craving a taste of home? Only a 10-15 minute walk from all Mississauga Student Residences this sit-in, take-out and delivery restaurant offers authentic Indian cuisine, sure to make you feel at home with us! Where samosas are only $0.55 and a combo with 3 veggie curries, rice, naan, pop and a sweet for only $8.20
4. Mr. Sub
Okay so this was the semi-healthy option we were referring to earlier. There is a lot of controversy as to if subs are healthy but you can make some smart decisions to help cut out some of the calories. Try opting out of the bread and getting a wrap instead! Or try to avoid using heavy sauces when you dress your sandwich, instead go for the vinaigrette or tzatziki sauce. These will help you stay fit, focused and budget conscious! This is roughly a 15 minute walk from all Mississauga Student Residences.

5. Symposium
BRUNCH. That is all we need to say. Who doesn’t love a Sunday brunch with your friends and family? Symposium is a great local spot for everything from breakfast to late night drinks and appetizers. Like all the others on the list, this hot spot is a mere 10-20 minute walk from your new home away from home! Enjoy the plentiful menu list and try your best to only order one item!
